One, that puts residents, local businesses, families, and the environment first.
I’ll work to preserve what makes our city special while promoting thoughtful growth,
housing options for all generations, strong public safety,
and greater transparency in local decisions.
Growth Policy Statement
Woodinville is growing, and while change is inevitable, it should be guided with care and shaped by those who live here. I support smart density, Middle housing, and ADU’s when it's appropriate for the area and supported by the community, not through a blanket approach that ignores neighborhood character. The need for affordable housing continues to grow, and we must meet this challenge with innovative solutions. With growth comes increased traffic, pressure on infrastructure, and greater demands on schools and utilities. That's why I will champion through impact assessments before large scale developments move forward. Developers must do their part by contributing to road, park and infrastructure improvements through fair and effective impact fees.
As a strong advocate for our senior community, I am committed to ensuring that older adults in Woodinville have access to the services and support they need to thrive. From transportation and healthcare access to social programs and affordable housing , I believe in enhancing the quality of life for our seniors and making sure they are not left behind. Their voices matter, and will work to ensure they are heard, valued and represented in every decision that affects our community.
Police & Safety
Our first responders, police and fire fighters are working hard every day to keep us safe. Their commitment and service deserves our full appreciation and support. However, just as we expect our officers to protect us, we also have a responsibility to ensure their safety and well being in return. I will work for a healthy balance honoring their service while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and shared responsibility for public safety.
Environment
Woodinville has an abundance of natural resources. My aim is to promote initiatives that support the conservation of the natural beauty of our city such as sustainable land use (protecting green spaces), air and water quality (rules to reduce pollution and safeguard resources), waste management (promote recycling/composting initiatives), energy efficiency and green transportation.
Economic Development &
Small Business Policy
Thriving small businesses are the foundation of a strong local economy. I’m committed to supporting entrepreneurs and ensuring retail spaces remain affordable and accessible for our business community. As Woodinville evolves, I will push to reclaim and revitalize commercial areas that have been displaced by residential expansion, so our city remains a place where local businesses can grow and serve the community.
Community Engagement
Open and honest communication with residents is at the heart of responsible leadership. I plan to host consistent community meetings to listen directly to your concerns and priorities. Creating space for two-way dialogue will ensure all perspectives are considered in decision making. Every resident deserves to be heard and have a seat at the table, because lasting solutions come from working together.
